The Story
I know how many hats small business owners wear. You're running the day-to-day, taking care of customers, keeping everything moving, and somewhere in there you're also supposed to be a marketer. That's a lot to ask of anyone.
Before I started Mattan Collective, I spent years in marketing, working on websites, SEO, and content for businesses of all kinds.
Along the way, I also saw what happens when a business owner hands that piece off to someone else and doesn't get much back in return. I watched outside agencies come in, make changes, and move on, leaving behind a website nobody explained. More than once, I was the one who had to untangle it. What should've taken an afternoon took three times as long, just trying to figure out why things were built the way they were, and whether it was even safe to touch them.
I know how important a strong website and a consistent social media presence are for getting your business seen.
But more importantly, I know every business has a story that makes it different, and that story deserves to actually reach people.
That's what I wanted to build Mattan Collective around: giving small business owners a website and an online presence that tells their story, without making them give up control to get it.
